CHEESEBURGER SOUP RECIPE:
Ingredients:
- 4 strips bacon
- 2 cups frozen shredded hash browns
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
- 4 eggs
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese
Instructions:
- Cook bacon in a 10-inch heavy skillet until crisp; remove and drain.
- Mix potatoes, onions, and green pepper.
- Cook over low heat in drippings until underside is crisp and brown.
- Blend eggs, milk, and seasonings.
- Pour over potatoes.
- Top with Cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon.
- Cook, covered, over low heat until eggs are set.
