Ingredients:

-2 (15 oz.) cans Black Beans

-2 Jalapeno Peppers

-2 Garlic Cloves

-1/4 c. Cilantro (stems or leaves)

Salt (optional) to taste

Pepper (optional) to taste

Salsa

-Sour cream

Instructions:

Cook beans (undrained) with garlic, cilantro, peppers, salt, and pepper. Bring to boil, then reduce to low and simmer for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Using a slotted spoon, transfer 1½ bean mixture to a food processor. Process, adding cooking liquid as necessary to form a paste (not too thick). Add remaining whole beans and cool. Add salsa (if desired). Stir and garnish with a dollop of sour cream.
