FRENCH GREEN SALAD RECIPE:
Ingredients:
- 1 head iceberg lettuce or 1 lb. romaine lettuce
- Spinach
- 2 ripened avocados, sliced
- 1 cucumber, seeded and chopped
- 2 ripe tomatoes, chopped
- 10 radishes, sliced (optional)
Dressing:
- 1 1/2 c. olive oil
- 1 c. apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp. Dijon mustard
- 1 Tbsp. Greek seasoning salt
- 1 tsp. minced onion
- 1 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp. sweet basil
Instructions:
Wash and dry the lettuce, then assemble it in a salad bowl (prewashed salad may be substituted). Add sliced avocados, cucumber, and tomatoes (and radishes if desired). Mix the salad dressing ingredients in a cruet or jar and shake well. Toss the salad with the dressing to taste, but do not add all dressing at once. Sprinkle with more Parmesan cheese when tossing if desired.
