ORIENTAL COLESLAW RECIPE:
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. shredded coleslaw
- 2 pkg. Ramen noodles (beef flavor)
- 1 bunch green onions, sliced
- 1 c. toasted slivered almonds
- 1 c. sunflower seeds
- 2 pkg. seasoning (beef) mix from noodles
- 1/2 c. oil
- 1/3 c. vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
Instructions:
Up to 1 hour before serving, combine coleslaw, green onions, almonds, and sunflower seeds in a bowl. Cover and chill. Make the dressing by combining 2 packages of beef seasoning mix from noodles, oil, vinegar, and sugar in a screw-top container. Shake well. At serving time, shake the dressing again and pour over the salad, then toss to coat. Makes 12 servings.
